Bob Nooney

Racetrack
Ronnie Panzarini
Julian Alvarez
Emiliano Achaval |
Island Biker come out very strong in the
first chukker. Vice-president of the club, Scott McKay had umpiring duties
for the afternoon. As he threw the ball in Island biker quickly added a few
goals.
Racetrack number 2 player, Ronnie Panzarini was playing his first game of
the year, also his first game with his Racetrack teammates. It took him a
few chukker's to adjust himself to his new partners. Meanwhile Island Biker
Finished the first chukker at 3 to 1.
The second chukker was fast paced , Knox Weymouth played an excellent
chukker. With great help from his teammates Island Biker finished ahead by
3, 6 to 3 as the bell announced the end of the first half of the day.
Once again horse power proved to be definitive in the second half.
Racetrack moved Achaval to the number 1, to try to hold their most effective
player , Knox Weymouth in the number 3 position.
Panzarini regained his arena polo bearings, playing good teamwork. At the
end of the chukker, the game was tied at 7.
The 4th and final chukker was all racetrack. They completed dominated the
field, on offense and defense.
When the bell sounded, the score was 14 to 7 in favor of Racetrack.
A big Mahalo goes out to Bob Nooney for sponsoring a great fun day at Maui
Polo Club. We are already looking forward to next years Island Biker Cup and
the delicious "secret recipe" Island Biker Chili!
